Our mission is to provide a safe space for young people to be creative in. STITCH is a collective of gente working to create spaces where our whole selves are recognized, celebrated, and offered healing and nourishment.

Since 2009, we have hosted our Summer Open Mic Series free of charge at coffee shops, in community centers, and local businesses shops across Milwaukee. Building for over five years, we have reached hundreds of youth and community members. We continue to create ways to further stitch our Milwaukee through the power of story via poetry, music, and art.

Cine Sin Fronteras

Cine Sin Fronteras (Cinema Without Borders) screens films that explore and unpack issues surrounding identity, culture, family, history, and modernity within the Latinx diaspora, including stories from the Chicanx, Latin American, indigenous, and Afro-Latinx communities.

Cine Sin Fronteras was created and has been curated since 2016 as a response to the success of the Passport: Mexico program, which showcased the landscape and culture of modern Mexico, by Jeanette Martín and Claudia Guzmán.
